SWEET site that has lots of explanations of various ways to code things: http://simplestcodings.blogspot.ca/
All I get is a white screen with the TFT so I switched to trying to get Qt installed on the pi.
Then I got to the step and error:
sudo apt-get install Qtcreator
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Unable to locate package Qtcreator
The problem was due to case-sensitivity. The correct command was:
sudo apt-get install qtcreator
They should probably update the page…
So I have 2 Raspberry Pis. These things are just absolutely amazing.
Tonight I spent some time configuring one of them to work with Adafruit’s PiTFT Mini Kit – 320×240 2.8″ TFT+Touchscreen for Raspberry Pi. I soldered up the headers, plugged it in to the Pi and powered it up. All I had was a white screen.
OK, fine I’ll read the instructions, I thought. Apparently you need to replace the kernel in order for the screen to work. I’m updating the software now…
Changes comes from within…
